Our federation, which works in cooperation with the Turkish Badminton Federation, held a camp for national team athletes. Training was led by Turkish national team coach Üstün Köksal, who came from Türkiye, together with two Turkish national team athletes who have placed at European level. The camp, with morning and evening sessions, ran from 31 January to 4 February 2018. The athletes took part with great enthusiasm and were clearly very happy. Assessing the camp, President Fırat Deniz thanked the Turkish Badminton Federation and its President Murat Özmekik for their support, and the Sports Department for the facilities provided. He said he was pleased with the athletes' interest and performance throughout the camp, and that such camps are important not only for improving performance but also for more disciplined and planned training. President Deniz also thanked coach Üstün Köksal, who led the sessions, and presented him with a plaque at the end of the camp for his work.
