The 18th International Dr. Küçük Games Badminton Championship ended with a splendid ceremony. The national teams of North Macedonia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye took part, and our country entered two teams, TRNC A and TRNC B. A total of 15 matches were played on 13 and 14 October 2018; Türkiye won the title without losing a match, Azerbaijan finished second and Georgia third. North Macedonia beat our A team after extra points in the match for fourth place, in a series of closely fought and entertaining matches. Speaking briefly before the award ceremony, Federation President Fırat Deniz congratulated the visiting federation presidents, officials, coaches and athletes, as well as the press and referees, on their participation and performance. He thanked everyone who contributed to organising the Dr. Küçük Games, and expressed his gratitude to the Sports Department for giving our athletes the chance to play against athletes from other countries.
